Zeus is 6-yrs old, NM. DNA test results (from orig owner) showed his breed mix as American Bulldog and Dogo Argentino mastiff. He has 'orange' speckles. Approx 80# and VERY well mannered!!! It is apparent he was someone's baby at one point ... He's a BIG BOY!!! We found Zeus in Blanco, TX on July 26, xxxx just outside City Limits. He is chipped - tracked down orig ppl who said they re-homed him in May xxxx to someone in Wimberley, TX. NO CLUE how he got to Blanco unless he was dumped. BOO! There have been no lost reports and no response to our Found reports. Zeus is GOOD with kids at least 5 yrs old. He LOVES to chase a ball, brings it back and drops it so you can throw it again. Zeus is a BULL STRONG dog! Zeus is doing 'okay' in the kennel, but he is a HOUSE DOG. Rides beautifully in the car, walks well on a leash, has a calm demeanor. He would be best as an only child and probably not a 'party dog' with other dogs. He *will* crate. He is tidy in his kennel. LOVES his moose antler. Not sure about cats ... err on the side of caution there. UPDATE 10/27: We shuffled dogs and Zeus has been in our master bedroom. PERFECT house manners, he is NOT destructive or mischievous and crates now on command. HE'S A GREAT BOY!!!! It's not fair to Zeus but to give him a chance to find a new home and family. (Note: As much as original owners love Zeus, they cannot take him back. We would have held him for them, but their future is too uncertain ...)
